About Us

Like all web users, our team experiences the pain we're trying to address each and every day. But we picked them for our team because they have the knowledge and experience to change things.

Each member of our team - management, investors, board members, advisors and partners - offers Parity a unique and special talent. Whether it be expertise in technology, evolving business models or legal issues, our extended team helps us navigate the complexities associated with doing something really big.

Core Beliefs

We are creating a new kind of company to help people manage their identities, based on the open-source Higgins Project. The following core beliefs are what guide us:

1. The individual controls everything. In the new identity world, nothing is implied. People decide what information to share and with whom, and they can change their mind at any time. End of story.
2. Nothing matters more than trust. The trust of the individual is like the air that moves boats on the ocean. Without it, nothing happens.
3. People trust transparency. The people that use Parity will know everything about their data: Where their data lives. Who can see it. What we know about them. What we don't know about them. How we make money.
4. Nobody is as smart as everybody*. This is why we started the Higgins Project, which serves as the foundation for Parity's business. No single company owns identity. The community at large must drive the direction of technology and law to empower individuals.
